We were so happy to be all together for Christmas 2009! The kids came in during the week and on Christmas Eve we had a party.On Christmas day, Seth and Jenny et al came over and we celebrated together with feasting and music. This year, our Christmas crackers had whistles and instructions to play various carols--each whistle could play one note, and so each person waited for his turn and then passionately played that one note, all working together to make up the tune. Sometimes it sort of worked..
After dinner, we had the usual Christmas sing along. accompanied by Seth on the piano and various instruments, some retrieved from the basement for this purpose alone, once a year, and possibly not in the best possible state. But we all enjoyed ourselves very much--a lovely evening! God bless us every one--a wonderful Christmas! May 2010 be a good year for us all.
