Brooke and Cameron
I have known Leslie and Reno since the 70's, when we were all young together. Leslie gave me a baby shower when I was pregnant with Beatrice, and she was pregnant with Brooke.
I made her Brooke's first birthday card--they were in Lagos then, the first of many many overseas postings.
All through the intervening years, we have kept in touch, and have always been happy when we can get together.
What a wonderful occasion, the marriage of Brooke and Cameron! The young couple were glowing with happiness and life. The venerable words of the beautiful wedding service were so moving, and how splendid to come out of the church with the happy wedding bells ringing, and then the military flourish that ended the ceremony!
The reception was held at the beautiful Catamaran Hotel, where we stayed.
We looked out from our window to see enormous koi slipping gracefully through the waters of a pond by our room.And the bay stretched out right behind us! Such a place to hold a wedding--the whole occasion was so elegant, so lovely! A selection of pictures available here.
