Love During the Pandemic

The pandemic was something of a problem when it came to Joy and Lawrence's plans. They tried to get hitched THREE TIMES.
Each time they were foiled by the ever stricter pandemic regulations in the UK.

Attempt # 1 FOILED!

Attempt # 2 FOILED!

Attempt # 3 FOILED!

But they persevered! And the FOURTH time, everything worked like a charm!

JOY and LAWRENCE were joined in a Civil Partnership on April 29, 2021, in Leeds, Yorkshire.

Lawrence's mom came, and some British friends--unfortunately, Joy's American family was prevented from coming to the celebration due to the vile pandemic. But they watched thanks to Dave's phone, and were so happy to be able to do that! Afterwards there was a pizza and beer party, with a FABULOUS cake--and little Kairos was an ANGEL throughout the whole day! She enjoyed the party as much as everyone else did! So, congratulations to Joy and Lawrence AND Kairos! We are all so happy for you!
