Hope and Jenny 2020

By extreme good fortune, my darling cousins Geof and Maria were visiting in March, so they were able to take part in our birthday celebration. We had a splendid time together, though the dreadful plague began to overshadow the country right about then.
But we persevered, they saw a museum or two, and I made cupcakes and kitty cat cookies, put together goody bags, and made sure there were enough alcoholic beverages on hand.

Party Time!

The guest list grew, as people's other engagements were cancelled by virus fears, and then shrank as the horrid reality of infection became clear. We were 13 around the table--a tight fit!--but we were very merry, and bravely ate and drank despite the horrid disease which loomed over us.

Thank you to all who partied with us, and I wish all my dear family could have been there!
