Helen and Harriet have different ideas about a lot of things, and when it came to a birthday cake, they could not agree.

So their brilliant mother hit on a grand idea: cupcakes, some with Princess cupcake picks and some with Truck cupcake picks.They came out a treat! If only I had taken pictures of them. Grandma Claire and Aunt Tessa laid the sweetest little birthday table you can imagine! The girls celebrated with tea and cinnamon toast and berries and cold viands. Then, birthday cupcakes!
